2023: Nasarawa PDP Guber Candidate Promises To Develop Keana Salt For Export

David Ombugadu, Nasarawa State gubernatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023 election has promised to develop Keana Salt for export if he is elected as governor.

Ombugadu made the promise in Keana Local Government Area (LGA) of the state during the continuation of the statewide campaign ahead of the 2023 election.

The PDP governorship flag bearer said the ancient salt industry in Keana has the potential to generate revenue enough to develop modern infrastructure in the area.

“It would also generate direct and indirect employment to thousands of people in the area thereby reducing restiveness.

“We will develop it and add value to it so as to export it to foreign countries of the world,” Umbugadu added.

The candidate also said that if elected in 2023, he would liaise with the Federal Government to begin expedite action to begin exploration of crude oil in the area.

“We know there is crude oil in Keana, so we will ensure its exploration like it was recently done in Bauchi State,” he added.

Ombugadu therefore called on the people to vote for all PDP candidates for good governance with priority in the welfare of its citizens.
