The Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN) is set to organise an inter-denominational Christmas concert that will feature renowned Nigerian gospel artistes.
The concert is targeted at preaching the Gospel of Christ through music, as well as making Christianity all the more visible, and to foster ecumenical relationship as well as reaching out to the poor.
Speaking with the Publicity Committee Chairman, Rev. Fr. Christian Anyanwu, he said “the aim of this noble event is centered at using music as a tool in preaching the Gospel to every people”.
Anyanwu further said that top gospel music crooners such as; Jude Nnam Steve Crown, Buchi, Prospa Ochimana, Olumide Dada, Mercy Chinwo, Chioma Jesus, Chris Morgan and host of others will be ministering.
The theme of this year’s Maranatha Praise 2019 is titled: “The people who walk in darkness have seen a great light” (Matt. 4:16).
The event is scheduled to hold as follows; Friday, December 13, 2019
By 7.00pm till Dawn at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Plot 459 Cadastral Zone B2, Durumi 1, after Area 3, Garki, Abuja.
Free buses will be made available for persons who would want to attend the programme from various destinations such as;
Christ The King Parish, Kubwa; Holy Family Church, Gwarinpa; Holy Family Church, Life Camp; SS Petter & Paul, Nyanya; Saint Martin Parish, Lugbe; Saint John Parish, Mpape; All Saints Parish, Dutse Allahji; Holy Cross Parish, Apo; Saint Paul Parish, Gwagwalada; Saint Jude Parish, Zuba; Saint Kizito Parish, Kuje; Buses will also be available at the following junctions; Airport Junction, Area 1 Junction, Apo Junction, A.Y.A.
