While presenting the 2021 budget in the State House of Assembly, the Lagos State Governor disclosed his intention to repeal payment of Pension Law 2007, which is one of the most Lucrative pensions in Nigeria.
This means that former governors including Akinwumi Ambode, Forensic Inspector Fashola and the ‘almighty Tinubu Jagaban would not enjoy the following life benefits anymore:
One house each in Lagos and the FCT
6 new cars every two years
₦7.7M per annum and free health care for them and members of their families
Furniture allowance
House maintenance allowance
Utility allowance
Car maintenance allowance
Entertainment allowance
Personal assistant
8 policemen and 2 officials of the DSS
