The Arewa Youths Movement (AYM) has condomned the unjustifiable killings of students and other citizens in Jos Plateau by hoodlums.
According to a statement signed by the president, Amb. Muhammed Saad Aboki called for urgent investigation to unravel the root cause of the barbaric act.
The statement reads “The AYM National President Amb. Muhammed Saad Aboki Condemned the needless and heinous attack on the innocent residents of Yelwan Zagam and said must be condemned by all and sundry.
“This evil antecedent must be stalked by ensuring that the culprits are arrested and punished according to the law of the land.The executive Governor should please visit the violent spot and assure the victims that their murderous murderers will be apprehended and punished.
“The government must alleviate the suffering of the victims by supporting them in both kind and cash. They must be assured of peace in their Aboriginal land.
We have reached a point that we must collectively assist the security agencies by providing them with vital information on the murderous criminals in our midst.
“Defending atrocities committed against humanity must be eschewed as nobody is longer safe.
The safety of our neighbors is sacrosanct and we must collectively ensure that the bad eggs in our midst are exposed as the safety and serenity of others is infectiously our safety.
“Exploiting our primordial fault lines must be discountenanced.
A society that masturbates over gory sight and bloodbath is primed for self destruct. Human lives are sacred and must be protected by all irrespective of our differences.
“We must learn to live in peace. We are sliding into a perfidy of self annihilation where miscreants and murderous youths are leading the ratiocinating and rational minds in misadventure that is counter productive to our well being as a people.
The neighbors of these victims must expose the criminals among them rather than hiding the monsters in their midst.
He that lives by defending the murderous criminals for primordial reasons predicated on tribal or religious loyalty is more murderous than the culprits.
We must begin to ask ourselves this poignant question, what benefit are we hoping to get from protecting depraved good and vile minds in our midst?
The wicked even if they are our biological brothers and sisters must be treated for what they are:
unconscientious blood suckers.
They do not deserve our loyalty and protection. They must be singled out for exposure by us.
We must kill our monsters by exposing them for execution as they do not serve anybody,but the devil.
We must start to criminalize our criminals by exposing the atrocities they have committed against others.
We cannot be living in self denial that we are always the victims when we have our own aggressors marauding others without justification.
We are all victims of our inaction and morbid silence.
We must be captain of our lives, by rescuing ourselves from the murderous goons we have been precariously defending and protecting for ages. The time to act is now! Peace”.
