The National Union of Pensioners Contributory Pension Scheme Sector (NUPCPS) has called on the Federal Government to pay arrears of pension owed her members since inception of the scheme in 2007. The union lamented that contrary to the constitution of the Federation that pension should be review every five years along side salary of workers , Federal Government has refused to do that for Pensioners under the Contributory Pension Scheme. The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Nasarawa State say its personnel have arrested four suspects for alleged vandalisation of rail track. DSC Jerry Victor, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the command made the disclosure in a statement and made available to newsmen on Thursday in Lafia.
