FULafia V-C Felicitates With Staff, Students At Christmas
Prof. Shehu Abdul-Rahman,:Vice Chancellor (VC) Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has felicitated with the staff and students of the institution at the occasion of celebration of Christmas.
This is contained in a statement signed by the VC and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Lafia, Nasarawa State capital.
According to Prof. Abdul-Rahman “On behalf of the Management of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), I wish to felicitate with the staff and students on the occasions of Christmas and New Year.
“In spite of all the individual and collective challenges we have faced in the year 2022, I thank the Almighty God for His grace and mercies and sparing our lives to witness these special occasions.
I thank God, specially, for giving our University the kinds of human resources it needs to achieve greatness,” he added.

The VC lauded the staff and students for playing crucial roles in the processes of developments witnessed this year in the University.
“Therefore, while I use this opportunity to thank everyone for their individual sacrifice and contribution, I urge us all to use this occasion to pray for each other’s good health so that we will, together, make our University a reputable institution of learning.
He tasked them to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, love and peace as exemplified by Jesus Christ and not to forget to thank God for blessing them as they celebrate these two important events of Christmas and New Year.
The Vice Chancellor want Christians to use this period and pray for God to heal the challenges of insecurity and economic difficulties bedeviling the country as it seems overwhelming.
“Thus, I call on the staff and students to pray for peace, security and economic development in Nigeria and the progress of FULafia in the years ahead,” Abdul-Rahman added.
