The National President of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) would tomorrow Tuesday 15, 2019 begin a two day official visit to the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa state, Silas Agara and the Chief Judge of state, Justice Suleiman Dikko on how to resolve the Industrial dispute by Judiciary Workers in the state.
A statement by Nasarawa branch JUSUN Assistant Secretary, Comrade Joseph Abugu said the National President, Comrade Marwan Mustapha Adamu is to first meet with the Deputy Governor in the morning on the first day, and later meet with the Chief Judge in the afternoon.
He said the second day which is 16th January 2019, the president would hold a special Congress with Members of the union in the state.
The statement further urge the striking workers to remain resolute on the struggle for their demands.
“Following the directive of the National Headquarters of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigena (JUSUN), I have been been directed to Inform you of a two day visit of the National PreSIdent, Comrade Marwan Mustapha Adamu, to Lafia the Headquarters of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) Nasarawa State Branch”.
It would be recalled that the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) in the state have been on strike since November 2018 over allegations of illegal deduction of salaries of workers and other demands.
