Wife of Niger state Governor , Dr Amina Sani Bello has advised Nigerians to abide by the instructions and guidelines of the medical professionals and government for encouraging social distancing and regular hand washing to avoid the spread of Covid – 19 pandemic.
The Governors wife gave the advise while receiving hospital and consumable equipment worth N500 million donated by Mean Stream Energy Solution to Niger, Kogi and Federal Capital Territory FCT to contained Coronavirus pandemic in the states.
Dr Amina Abubakar Sani Bello appreciated the proactive nature of the foundation in supporting government efforts assuring to make good use of the goods donated as this will go a long way in assisting the provisions of health services in the state.
She stated that 50 capacity bed Minna rehabilitation cenre will also be converted to isolation center in addition to the already existing one, noting that the state governor has approved the establishment of 12 isolation centers in the state.
Dr Amina applauded the kind gesture stressing that some of the donated materials were not in existence before now while assuring of support and assistance at all times.

On his part, the Head of Corporate Communications, Mr Gbenga Adebola while speaking with newsmen during the donation to Niger state government, said it is to established 50 bed capacity additional isolation centre in Niger state while some of the equipments is to be donated to Abuja Teaching Hospital and Kogi state to compliment federal and states government efforts in curbing the spread of the dreaded disease.
He said that the equipments to includes; sanitizers, N-95 face masks, analyzers, monitors, clinical globs, 50 beds and mattresses and 5 ventilators in which Niger state to benefit one, added that those equipments were sophisticated aimed at mitigating and fill in the gap.
