Commissioner for Commerce in Cross River State, Pst. Mrs. Rosemary Archibong has called on young Cross Riverians to embrace export as part of Ayade’s Industrialisation drive.
Pastor Rosemary made this call at a one-day workshop organised by the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) in Calabar.

According to the Commissioner, Gov Ayade’s Industrial quest is geared towards uplifting the economic fortunes of Cross Riverians using the vast Agribusiness, Solid Minerals, Cultural and other potentials that could thrive domestically, sub regionally and internationally.
Mrs. Archibong stressed that the Governor’s commitment towards establishing the Deep Seaport, Super Highway, and Obudu Cargo Airport is to break into the international frontiers. In her words

“I encourage businessmen and women to receive appropriate training to equip themselves for the challenges of international and maritime trade, making use of the existing Calabar Port and other outlets.”
