A famous clergy in Central Nigeria, Rev. Luther Joseph Damang has identified nonchalant attitudes of youths towards business as the major reason behind increase poverty in the Country.
Damang made the submission in a talk-Shaw organised by COCIN Youth fellowship LCC Minna, during 2020 two days annual youth Camp held at the LCC Church auditorium.
Damang lamented that most youths focus much attention on government jobs forgetting that businesses sometimes pay more than Government work.

He called on the youth to as a matter of urgency think outside the box and take their destiny into their hands.
Reverend Luther who is the leading pastor of Church of Christ In Nation (COCIN) Local Church Council Minna, challenged those in high positions to always considered the young one and the unemployed to hand over the Barton to since they will not remain there forever.
Lamenting on his encounter with some personalities on the employment issues, the Reverend said “It is good to have someone you mentor at whatever position you found yourself, but it baffles me to see those in the position to help but the reverse is always the case. Please note that you will not remain there forever somebody was there and somebody must occupy that seat one day” he warned.

The panelists of the talk-Shaw anchored by Mr. Pan’an Mathew Jwantu took turns to address the youth on how to be self-reliant and to be employers of labour rather than employees.
While digesting one of the questions which bothered on why people engaged in falsification of names and age, the discussants, which includes Pharmacist Samuel, Miss Nansat Lekyes Security personnel, Mrs. Nanko Salihu an Educationist and Elder Katmi Johnson, took time to explain that it is all as a result of system failure which according to them, must be check as a matter of urgency.
