History was made Friday in the university of Calabar community with the emergence of Prof. Florence, Banku Obi as the first female Vice Chancellor of the institution.
After a keenly contested election with about 13 professors mostly male, Prof. Obi cruse to victory having scored 84 point as announced by Amb. Gabriel. O. Egbe, Registrar of the university.
