JUSUN Lauds Gov. Sule, Nasarawa CJ For Reinstating 21 Dismissed Staff
The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has lauded Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State and Justice Aisha Aliyu, Chief Judge (CJ) of the state for reinstating the 21 staff of the Judiciary that were dismissed because of their roles in a strike in 2020.
Mr Marwan Mustapha, National President of JUSUN gave the commendation in Lafia, Nasarawa State during the inauguration of the newly built Secretariat of JUSUN in the state.
The national president of JUSUN said the role played by the governor in the reinstatement of the dismissed staff of Judiciary had shown that he is truly a father.
The National JUSUN President said the relationship between the workers and the government as well as the management of the Judiciary was hostile when they visited the state during the strike.
“I am happy today, because the atmosphere is peaceful and our members, the government and the management of Judiciary are dinning and winning as one family that we are,” he said.
Mr Mustapha commended the CJ for implementing the outstanding promotions of staff from 2011 and introducing other welfare packages for sick, bereaved and staff who are getting married.
He also commended the governor for increasing the subvention of the Judiciary which made the transformation going on in the state Judiciary possible.
On his part, Mr Jimoh Musa, Nasarawa State JUSUN Chairman said he is most happy now and vindicated because the struggle they did yielded results.

“We do not have anything personal against anybody, but as Union officials, we needed to ensure that our members get promoted, converted after further studies and the courts are equipped with state of the art facilities.
“So, the strike and all the actions we took that time was to ensure better welfare and working environment for the staff and nothing more,” he added.
Musa used the medium and commended the governor for his fatherly role in ensuring industrial harmony in the state Judiciary.
The state JUSUN Chairman also lauded Justice Aisha Aliyu, Chief Judge for granting the demands of the union which brought peace back to the judicial arm of government in the state.
He also commended the CJ for releasing the withheld check-up dues of the union amounting to over N9 million which made the completion of their Secretariat possible.
He therefore promised that the staff would give in their best to ensure that Nasarawa State Judiciary is one of the best in the country is effective and efficient service delivery.
In her Goodwill message, the CJ said she is the most happy person now because the JUSUN members have not disappointed her contrary the insinuations in some quarters.
The Chief Judge assured them that she would continue to give priority to the welfare of the staff and ensure befitting working environment as long as she is still the CJ of the state.
Similarly, Yusuf It’s, Nasarawa State Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) represented by Ahmed Naibi described Gov. Sule as the most labour friendly governor since the creation of the state.
“As such, we and our families will mobilise and ensure that the governor get reelected to continue the good work he had started,” the NLC Chairman added.
