Amb. Omaku Felicitates With Muslim On Eid-el-Fitr, Calls For Prayer
Mr Henry Omaku, Nigeria High Commissioner to the Republic of Sierra Leone has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the occasion of 2023 Eid-el-fitri.
The felicitation is contained in a statement he issued to newsmen on Friday in Lafia, Nassarawa State
Ambassador Omaku also congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nassarawa State for the successful completion of Ramadan fast and celebration of Eid-el-fitri.
“Myself and my family join Muslim faithful in thanking Allah for this life opportunity he has offered our brothers to celebrate another Eid-el-fitri.
“Eid-el-Fitr has become a symbolic event in the history of mankind, after completing the Ramadan fasting, praying and a demonstration of kindness to humanity.
“The period therefore, reminds us that there will always be great rewards when we have abiding faith and patience in trying periods,” he added.

He said that Muslims and Nigerians should know that the significance of the season is beyond the festivities to sincere commitment to righteous conducts in private and public lives.
He further said that as Muslims celebrate this auspicious occasion, they should renew their faith in the country and pray for the leaders at all levels.

He added that Muslims should implore those values that place high premium on human life, love of neighbor and sharing even as we ventilate our faith in the unity of the country.
The Ambassador therefore prayed God to accept all the sacrifices and prayers made during the Ramadan period for the good of mankind.
