The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has licenced Association of Umrah and Hajj Women Operators (AUHWO) to bridge the gap between women operators and the regulatory agencies
The association with registration number 7436785 under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 (as amended) is to also elevate the standard of women’s services in Umrah and Hajj operations, ensuring excellence and quality
The group is to create a comprehensive database, celebrating the achievements and diversity of women in Umrah and Hajj operations nationwide.
“Champion public awareness campaigns, highlighting the vital role women play in Umrah and Hajj operations and promoting gender inclusivity.
“Streamline and coordinate women’s activities, fostering a supportive community and sharing best practices.
“Forge strategic partnerships with government agencies and stakeholders, advocating for policies and initiatives that empower women in the industry.
“We invite all stakeholders, including women operators, regulatory agencies, and the general public, to join us in this transformative journey. Together, we can create a more inclusive and vibrant Umr and Hajj ecosystem, celebrating the strength and resilience of women in Nigeria.
The organization with office at 9 Shop No.l, Dee Awwal Plaza, Plot 2044, Micheal Okpara Street, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, it’s mission is to amplify the voices and contributions of women in Umrah and Hajj operations, aligning with the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the African Union, and the United Nations.
