President, Mass Communication Students Association (MACOSA), Comrade Aristercus Akolo Emmanuel has urged muslins in the country to increase goodwill, sacrifice and prayers for sustainable peace and development in Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large.
Comrade Emmanuel in his massage to commemorate Eid il fitr, also congratulates Muslims brothers and sister for the successful completion of Ramadam, which he described as a major pillars of Islam.
“As Muslim commemorate Eid il fitr the world over today, I wish to, on behalf of the executive council of Mass Communication Students Association (MACOSA) Nasarawa State University, Keffi, felicitate our Muslim brothers and sisters especially students of Mass communication on this occasion.
“I particularly congratulate you for successfully completing Ramadan fast (one of the major pillars of Islam). May our prayers and supplications throughout the holy month of Ramadan be accepted by almighty Allah.
“As you celebrate, I urge you all to celebrate in accordance with the teachings of Islam. I encourage you to use this period to increase your goodwill, sacrifice and prayers for sustainable peace and development in Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large”.
The MACOSA president further tasked the Muslims uwmah to use this occasion to allow the lessons acquired during the holy month of Ramadan to guide your daily activities as well as submit yourselves completely to acts of charity and all the good teachings of Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him for the overall unity and progress of our dear country – Nigeria.
