Ahead of Saturday 9th governorship and House of Assembly election, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the House of Representatives, in Keffi, Karu and Kokona Federal constituency in Nasarawa state at the February 23rd, 2019 Presidential and National Assembly election, Hon Emmanuel Bako has returned to the All Progressive Congress (APC), with his teaming supporters.
Hon Bako who announced his returned to the party after two months he joined the SDP from APC Thursday, said he has returned home to his ancestral home to garner support for the party in state and the country in general.
He further apologies to the party and its leaders for his comments during his sojourned in the Social Democratic party when he struggle for the position of House of Representatives but unsuccessful.
According to him, he left the APC with the notion that the primary election was not transparent, but said all are in the past, as he promises to work for the victory of the APC in the Saturday March 9th election in Nasarawa state.
“You will recall that about two months ago, I embarked on a fresh struggle for the position of House of Representative under the platform of social Democratic party (SDP) which in the end was not successful.
“For the records, my action was predicated on the outcome of the primary election of our great party the (APC) held on the 03/10/2018, of which I felt in my opinion was not fairly conducted. However, I wish to affirm my absolute loyalty and commitment to my party and its leadership at all levels.
“Despite my anger and my activities in SDP, I and my Campaign Team have always campaigned for the President , Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Engr. AA. Sule. After all the SDP had at that time already adopted President Muhammadu Buhari as its Presidential candidate.
“I wish to kindly state categorically that if in the course of my brief activities in SDP, I have made some inflammatory statements or comments that hurt or undermined my party and its leadership, I wish to withdraw them and to sincerely apologise”.
Hon Emmanuel Bako further described his sojourn in the SDP as someone that went to ‘ rent an apartment in SDP and after the expiration of the rent, am back to my political ancestral home the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Sincerely apologise to the leadership of our party, in any way it may have been offended and so withdrawn every derogatory and inflammatory statement or comment made.
“I also re- affirm my absolute loyalty and commitment to the party’s constitution and its activities especially the forth coming Gubernatorial election coming up on Saturday 09/03/2019.
“I call on all my supporters who had stayed back in APC and those who had followed me to SDP to kindly burry your anger and come out in unity to work for the success and victory of our great party , I urge them to come back to our ancestral home- APC”.
