Blueprint Publisher, Malagi Declares For Niger State Governorship

The Publisher of Blueprint Newspaper Limited, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi has declared to contest the governorship position in Niger State on the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2023.
Alhaji Idris Malagi made the disclosure in Minna Tuesday during an official visit to the APC party secretariat in state and donated total of 31 buses and N43 million cash for the party operations.
Speaking on the reason for the donation, Idris said that the it was aimed at strengthening the party and operate in a conducive atmosphere for the betterment of its members.
Malagi registered his dismay over the Banditory activities going on in Niger, and condole with families who lost their loves ones as a results of the bandits
“though I am not here for that now, but since you have ask, I will let the cat out of the bag, yes, I am aspiring to be the next governor of Niger state but today I am here to identify with the platform with my party, the APC and attempting to strengthen the party through the donations”. He explained

According to him, each of the 25 local governments received a vehicle and donation of N1 million cash, each of the three zonal offices got a bus and N1 million while the party state secretariat got three buses and a cash donation of N15 million to help them in the operations of the party activities.
Malagi who is the publisher of Blueprint Newspaper pledged his absolute loyalty to the party and charged for the sustenance of the unity of APC in Niger state and Nigeria, while he applauded governor Abubakar Sani Bello for ensuring a strong and indivisible party in the state, adding that disagreement is not division.
He further commended the state party Chairman for providing the required quality leadership and ensuring a strong and united party worthy of emulation.
Responding, the Niger State APC chairman, Hon. Zakari Jikantoro however appreciated the kind gesture aimed at strengthening the party in the state as a welcome idea, assuring to sustain victory at all levels of the forthcoming elections.
He maintained that the gesture was enough for his future aspiration and prayed for his success in his ambition, noting that the party would sustain its unity taking into cognizance of being a ruling party at all levels to its advantage
