Group Lauds Buhari, Sule Over Completion Of Lafia Power Sub- Station

Mada Unity Forum of Nasarawa West Senatorial District of Nasarawa State has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for the completion of the 330/132/33KV sub-station in Akurba community of Lafia.
The Socio-cultural group gave the commendation at a town hall meeting on Saturday in Keffi Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
Prof. Silas Gyar, spokesperson of the group said within the few months the power sub-station was completed and put to use, it has already boosted economic activities in Lafia and the entire state.
He said already Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) such as hairdressing and babarshops, herwelding, ice business among others have been experiencing boom due to improved electricity in the state.

The spokesperson for the group also lauded Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for close monitoring toward ensuring completion of the project.
He explained that since assumption in office, the governor has been doing everything possible to ensure rapid growth in the socio-economic activities by way of attracting investors.
He explained the governor had recently signed agreements with Flour Mills to establish a factory at Toto LGA, AZMA Rice, BUA Rice to also establish factories in the state.
Gyar also listed some of the projects the governor executed and those at advance stages of completion to includes; Bus Terminal at Karu and Lafia, Modern Markets at Akwanga LGA, Keffi, Nassarawa-Eggon, Udege road at Nasarawa LGA.
Others are; Sisinbaki-Farin Ruwa road, Shinge road, among other so many projects going on across the 13 LGAs of the state.
He added that the governor has also implemented over 10 years outstanding promotions of civil servants as well as ensuring full payment of pension and gratuity.
He said that the governor has proven himself within the last two years in office and deserve the support of all and sundry to sustain his performance.
He therefore said that the entire Mada people of Nasarawa West Senatorial District are solidly in support of the governor and his administration.
Similarly, Dr Emmanuel Salau, said they are passing a vote of confidence on the governor and promised to continue to support him to succeed.
Salau said the meeting which in attendance critical stakeholders of Mada extraction from the five LGAs of Nasarawa West including their traditional rulers, academia, youth and women groups among others.
