Taraba APC Kicks Against Selling Government Properties.

The Taraba state chapter of the progressive congress APC on Monday kicked against the selling of government properties in the state.

The Spokesperson of the party, Mr Aaron Atimas while speaking to journalists in Jalingo lamented that the selling of government properties goes to prove the level of ingenuity of of government in the state.

He noted that it is wrong for government to depend on hangout from the federal government all the times.

He added that it is very wrong to come one day and start selling the institution established by the previous administration.

He stressed that a state cannot wrong by an enterprises, adding that a state cannot run without generating it’s own revenue.

He expressed worried that the companies which the state government are trying to sell are the source of revenue generating unit of government right from inception.

He added that selling of Taraba companies will affect the allocation of the state .

He warned those trying to buy Taraba properties to desist, adding that this government has less than a month to go.

He called for the removal of Chief Executive Officer of the Investment and Property limited who is not advising the governor professionally.

The Chief Executive Officer of Taraba investment and properties Ltd (Trip) Iliya Ezekiel while reacting said APC in the state is ignorant of massive developmental strides of governor Darius Ishaku.

He noted that the claims by APC in the state was not only ignorant and malicious but wickedness, callous and uncalled for.

He pointing out that APC cannot win in Taraba let alone to succeed governor Darius administration.

“without missing words PDP will still clinch power come 2023 in the state” he said.

He described the call for his sack by APC spokesman as complete illiterate and lack of focus, stressing that privatilization of properties was the best for the state as it will enhance revenue income generation, employment opportunities and elimination of insecurity in the state among others.

Iliya Ezekiel who described governor Ishaku as a performer said before the present administration came to board over ninety percent of Taraba properties were moribund in the sense that the state were solely depends on federation allocation until the companies were resuscitated and revenue capital base of the state equally increased.
