INEC MUSLIM UMMAH HOST INEC BOSS AND OTHER PRINCIPAL OFFICERS: The Muslim Ummah at the independent National Electoral Commission headquarters in Abuja host the chairman of t he commission Prof Mamud Yakub and other principle officers of the commission to a super sonic breaking of fast. The event took place at the commission headquarters On Tuesday May/28/2019. Recall that this has become an annual event by the Muslim community at Inec with the aim of promoting religious tolerance amongst the people. Some of the achievements recorded by this group includes reaching out to the less privilege, award of scholarship to deserving students and so much more. In a remark by the Inec boss, Prof Mamud Yakub, he thanked the Muslim clerics for conceiving such a spectacular idea that has stood the taste of time. He thanked all Nigerians for their corporations both during and after the 2019 general elections and pledged to consolidate on their achievements as well as strengthening their weaknesses in making the Nigerian electoral process most credible as applicable in other climes. The highlight of the event was the breaking of fast that had all kinds of foods from the stables of food vine cuisine which is one of the leading catering services in the nation’s capital.
