The shortage of teachers in schools is a common problem, mostly because there are hundreds of children and just a handful of knowledgeable teachers. But this school in Samba, Jammu and Kashmir in India has next to no students at all.
A government school in Jamora, Samba, has just three students to study and six teachers to teach.
Chotu Ram, the only student in Class 8, told Reporters, “I come to school regularly. I am the only student in Class 8 while there are two other students in junior classes.”
The Chief Education Officer Ram Paul, however, said that since it is the only school in the entire vicinity, extra teachers were deployed.
Paul said, “If there are more teachers in that school, we will transfer them. We will also order an enquiry into it.”
Well, at least these three students cannot complain about not getting attention from teachers for sure.
