Chairman of Karu Local Government Council of Nasarawa State, Hon. Samuel Akala has challenges young people in the country not to be use to disrupt the conduct of 2019 general elections in the country.
He urged the youths be unite and enaure peaceful coexistence among all ethnic groups.
Hon. Akala who was speaking at the 2018 Yeslord concert, which held at the First ECWA church, opposite AA Rano Filling station, Keffi Nasarawa state said youths must embrace peace to ensure a smooth transition next year.
He said time like this in the history of the nation require prayers for God intervention, adding that with God Nigeria is sure of having a successful polls in 2019.
According to him, “2018 Yeslord Is a challenge for young people because this is what is needed at this moment in the lives of this nation, because for a nation to have peaceful coexistence, the youth must be united for it and if the youth can pick the challenge and come together and because what we need at this moment is prayers in this transition period.
“It is God that will make the 2019 election a succes. What I can see here is a meeting that is committed to ensuring that there is peaceful election in Nigeria and that is why most of us identified with this program and I believe that with what I have seen here, its worth attending and it’s a program that is credible, and as far as I am concern, the Convener did a good job and I commend him”.
The chairman also pledge to support the Convener of the programme so as to ensure the programme is sustain his vision and dream.
“The converner happen to be somebody I know very well. And he has been a very hard working man and he is highly innovative. I have had encounter with him severally and he has contributed even to my progress as a young man too. He is somebody I see that is focus and that is why some of us have identified with this project amd commited to ensure this project lea♦ves on and succeed beyond even the plan and vision of the convener.
“I assure him that we will continue to support him and particularly myself as the chairman of my LGC, I assure him that I will do all I can to give him all the support and also encourage him to keep this vision alive, because is something that can affect humanity”.
The Convener in his remarks , said with the atmosphere of God’s people who have come to worship their maker in truth and spirit, the Lord shall turn every worries to laughter.
