The outgoing Ambassador of Saharawi to Nigeria, Malainine Sadik Bachir says the liberation of Saharawi from the claws of imperialism is a certanty. He made the disclosure Thursday, in Abuja at a joint validatory session organized in his honour by the movement in Nigeria and the organized labour.
The ambassador thanked the Nigerian government as well as labour for the corporation and solidarity showned his country during his stays in Nigeria. He used the opportunity to assure the world of a continental movement for the liberation of Saharawi. He further stated that with determination and continues struggle by all well meaning individuals, the plights of the the Saharawi people will be assuaged.
Also speaking, president of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Comrade, Ayuba Wabba says
“We will continue to make this struggle our priority. We want to thank you for the time you have spent with us, for your patience, understanding and working relationship for the good of humanity, for our brothers and and sisters including workers in Saharawi republic who have been deprived from the use of her rich resources and culture
“We will continue to support you to make sure that nations of the world do what is good to ensure that this last colony in Africa is liberated”. He concluded
In the same vain, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, president of the Saharawi movement in Nigeria enthused that the right to live is the highest fundamental human right. He encouraged the Saharawi people to keep the embers burning as well as thanking Nigeria for being the first to establish the Saharawi movement.
Recall that Saharawi republic have been fighting for self determination for years with no hope in sight.
