Ahead of 2019 general elections in Nigeria, a group known as No Sidon Look Campaign has urged Nigerian youth, particularly students to go out and collect their permanent voters card, inspite of the ongoing strike by University and Polytechnics Academic Staff Unions.
The call is coming from a group of young Nigerians using ‘pigeon English to sensitize the youth on the importance of participating fully in the forth coming general elections.
The conveners of the group, Portrait Peterson and Echila Etal told newsmen that the campaign is targeted at uncollected PVCs, particularly the one by young persons are collected before INEC deadline of February 14.
The group is also sensitizing the youths against vote buying, Election violence, Ballot Box snatching, under age voting and other electoral vices mostly perpetuated by younger persons
No Sidon Look Campaign further revealed that the group have series of activities line up to boost their main objective on PVCs collection before election.
